Doggy Dash 5K & Family Mile
This furry, fun 5K is for the dogs — and their human partners! On Saturday, Sept. 8, bring your favorite canine running partner (or run by yourself) to help us raise money for the Community Connections Substance Abuse Prevention program.
Packet pickup and race-day registration begin at 7:45 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8, at the Cody Park Pool parking lot.
This year's event includes prizes for the largest "pack" of runners, the best pack theme, the most talented dog, and the best-dressed dog! Get your paws-itively perfect photo taken in the “Say WOOF” Photo Booth.
Promote a healthy and drug-free lifestyle! Have fun while earning points for the Platte River Fitness Series. All proceeds fund the Community Connections Substance Abuse Prevention System.
All participating dogs must be on a 6 foot or shorter leash. No puppies, please.
For more information or to sign up, visit the race page on the Platte River Fitness Series website at http://www.platteriverfitness.com/events/doggy-dash-5k-mile. You can also pick up a paper form at the North Platte Rec Center.
